The Fabric Barn is a hometown business now entering its fifth year in retailing. We began the business in 2007 with the idea that we could provide name brand fabric at a more reasonable price than the larger retail stores. Now, when I think of it, it was an undaunting task to challenge Walmart and JoAnns who were the giants in the retail fabric industry. However, through many weeks of mentoring with a very wise women (thank you Leona) who has been in the business for over 60 years, I learned the ropes and have successfully purchased name brand fabrics and yet kept the prices reasonably low for my customers. We are proud that the small red barn now holds over 1,800 bolts of fabric and new bolts arrive monthly.
